Published · Updated
Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit now sits in the Diwali 2027 window, setting up a clash with Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana Part 2. Only one outlet gives the exact date.
Original report
The Spirit release date is 29 October 2027, the Diwali 2027 window, Bollywood Hungama reported, after Prabhas posted the new date on 18 October 2026. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, had been due on 5 March 2027, so the move is nearly eight months.
The new slot puts it against Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana Part 2, both Bollywood Hungama and Free Press Journal reported. Fans now have a date, and a box-office fight to talk about.
