Our target

We design United One News toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA: text contrast of at least 4.5:1, interactive elements sized for touch, support for large system text sizes, and never conveying information by colour alone — our bias indicators always pair colour with a percentage, never colour by itself.

Screen readers & keyboard

The app is built with labelled controls for screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack) on mobile, and keyboard navigation on the web. If a control isn't announced properly or can't be reached without a mouse, that's a bug — please report it.

Known gaps

This is an active area of work, not a finished state. We haven't run a formal third-party accessibility audit, so we can't certify full conformance — this page states our target and invites reports rather than claiming compliance we haven't verified.
